THE metropolis'S eye care provision looks set to benefit from pioneering know-how used by NASA.Portsmouth opticians, Anne Gill Eyecare, is celebrating its sixth anniversary with the announcement of investment in ground-breaking expertise that will be used to identify competencies eyesight issues at their earliest tiers.
the realm's most advanced eye scanning expertise, used through NASA to computer screen imaginative and prescient in astronauts aboard the international house Station, is now available in Portsmouth. The machine uses in-depth 4D evaluation to scan and supply clear images of the complete 12 layers in the retina to provide early detection of any problems.
Anne noted: 'It feels incredible to know we in reality are providing some thing that makes us stand out from the crowd and is doing so a lot first rate for the people we look after.'
