37% of UK employers do not offer personnel workplace eye care

37% of UK employers don't present personnel office eye care

New analysis has highlighted that more than a third of UK employers don't provide any office eye take care of their employees.

carried out via Specsavers company Eyecare with 500 UK companies, the analysis showed that sixty three% of surveyed employers present some stage of workplace eye look after personnel, but handiest sixteen% supplied place of work eye take care of display clients.

this is despite health and safeguard (video display device) rules pointing out that employees who are monitor users must be supplied with company-funded eye care and glasses if required for screen use.

Director of strategic alliances at Specsavers company Eyecare Jim Lythgow referred to: 'Many employers are lacking a trick by no longer proposing eye care. Lythgow delivered that those receiving place of work eye care 'are prone to be benefitting on many ranges, with employees having their fitness and well-being supported that may most likely lead to happier and more productive employees.'
