Pell metropolis’s Bedsole Eye Care moving to South Park looking middle

PELL city - Dr. James W. Bedsole Eye Care is moving from the ancient downtown district to the South Park shopping center that Publix super Market anchors.

Optometrist Dr. James Bedsole stated after 27 years on Cogswell Avenue, Bedsole Eye Care will movement to the South Park browsing middle at the corner of U.S. 231 South and South Park force, Pell city.

“It’s been good, but Pell metropolis is changing and we wish to be a part of that nice trade,” he talked about. “we're excited in regards to the new facility.”

Bedsole pointed out the new facility is lots larger than the latest location downtown.

“it's going to permit us to do greater because the years go through,” he observed.

the brand new facility, if you want to have a whole lot of parking, is about four,000 square toes and should enable Bedsole to bring in greater doctors.

“It’s going to be a full-scope eye care middle, enabling us to do the same issues we’ve been doing here, but more desirable in a state-of-the-paintings facility,” he talked about.

Bedsole, who grew up in Elba, coffee County, in south Alabama, opened Bedsole Eye Care in 1991, after serving within the U.S. Navy for practically 10 years as an optometrist and aviator. He later retired within the U.S. Air force Reserves.

Bedsole bought the building on Cogswell Avenue from Dr. James McClendon, who unfolded the enterprise in the ’70s. The present facility as soon as served as Pell city’s city corridor.

Bedsole stated he hasn’t decided what he'll do with the existing building when he moves.

“I’ve been planning a brand new facility for a couple of years,” he talked about. “We did a lot of research and decided that changed into the top-rated location for us.”
